TREATMENT OF PRISONERS OF WAR IN TURKEY: CONDITIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES

This article talks about the conditions and opportunities in Turkestan created for the prisoners of war of the "Triple Alliance", captured during the First World War. According to the Hague Convention, the status of prisoners of war was determined. However, in the early years of the war, it was hardly followed. Due to the intervention of the Red Cross Society and other mediating countries, this process gradually began to change in a positive direction.
