CLINICAL COURSE OF RETROPERITONEAL TUMORS IN CHILDREN

<strong>Purpose: </strong>To determine the clinical course of various nosological forms of tumors of the retroperitoneal space in children in comparison. <strong>Methods: </strong>For the study, personal observations of patients, analysis of case histories and outpatient records of patients treated in the Samarkand branch of RSNPMTSOIR from 2017 to 2022 were used. 101 children. Of these, there were 38 boys and 63 girls. <strong>Results of the study: </strong>Neuroblastomas in long-term children were asymptomatic and only after reaching large sizes (10-15cm) in diameter caused a violation of the function of adjacent organs and systems. Thus, 12 out of 35 patients had abdominal pain as the first symptoms, 8 had stool retention and dysuria, 2 had prolonged fever, emaciation and decreased appetite. In 18 out of 35 patients, the tumor was detected by parents. <strong>Conclusions: </strong>Neuroblastomas and teratomas were often localized in the pelvis and caused stool and urine retention. Exertetory urography, trepanbipsia, computer tomography (MSCT) are advisable in the diagnosis. Treatment of retroperitoneal tumors in children should be combined with polychemotherapy, surgery and radiation.
