1948-1956 ACTIVITY OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN NAMANGAN OBLAST PRESS COVERAGE (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE MATERIALS OF THE NEWSPAPER "STALINSKAYA PRAVDA")

This article contains information about the public transport system of the Uzbek SSR, mainly the development of this type of transport in the Namangan region. A description of buses, taxis, passengers and the conditions created for them, stations, new routes connecting districts with each other is given. The implementation of the schedule of drivers at the bus depots of Namangan region, the benefit of passengers from public transport and its positive aspects were also discussed. Information about the condition of the highways of the Uzbek SSR and Namangan Oblast, as well as the negative conditions on them, is provided.
