EFFECT OF ROSUVASTATIN AND ITS COMBINATION WITH FENOFIBRIC ACID ON PRO-INFLAMMATORY CYTOKINES IN ELDERLY PATIENTS AFTER ENDOVASCULAR INTERVENTION
Annotatsiya
Ischemic heart disease (IHD) remains the leading cause of death in elderly patients. However, effective work on the management of patients with coronary artery disease to improve the quality of life is performed by percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). The aim of our study was to investigate the pro-inflammatory efficacy of rosuvastatin and its combination with fenofibric acid in elderly patients with coronary artery disease undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. In this article, it was analyzed that the majority of patients were elderly and diagnosed with coronary artery disease, stable angina III-IV FC. 109 patients were examined, the average age was 65.3±0.4 years. Analyzing the level of the lipid profile after 6 and 12 months while taking double lipid-lowering therapy with rosuvastatin at a dose of 20 mg and fenofibric acid at a dose of 145 mg, they approached the normative values. The level of all pro-inflammatory cytokines - IL-6, CRP and TNF-α tended to decrease, which proves the pleiotropic effects of statins. As well as indicators of quality of life and end points in the long-term follow-up period were studied.
