Annotatsiya

The study involved 215 women aged 18 to 35 years (the average age was 25.8±3.28 years) with PCOS, who were included in the main group and 30 absolutely healthy women of the same age in the control group. The results of the studies conducted to study the nature of correlations, we revealed a significantly direct positive correlation between the indicators of inhibin B (r=0.74; p˂0.05), AMH(r=0.79; p˂0.05), IGF-I (r=0.67;p˂0.05), insulin (r=0.62; p˂0,05), the HOMA-IR (r=0.66; p˂0,05) and the LH level in patients with PCOS, while a negative inverse correlation was established between the levels of INH-B (r=-0.7;p˂0,05), AMH(r=-0.73; p˂0,05), IGF-I (r=-0.69; p˂0.05), insulin (r=-0.62; p˂0.05), HOMA-IR (r=-0.67; p˂0.05) and FSH level. From the above, it follows that an increased level of LH, often found in this disease, can increase the production of inhibin B, AMH, and IGFR-I by the cells in polycystic ovaries and increase the production of androgens, as a result of which, apparently, has a general negative effect on normal folliculogenesis and ovulation, which suggests that the pathogenesis PCOS may include interrelated disorders of the systems of some intra-ovarian factors and ovarian steroidogenesis.
