JUSTIFICATIONS FOR OPTIMIZING THE MATERNITY SERVICE IN THE CITY MATERNITY COMPLEX

One of the most important goals of the development of the healthcare system in our country today is to improve the health of pregnant women, newborns, as well as to improve, improve the quality and accessibility of medical care to them by increasing its effectiveness and strengthening the material and technical base of healthcare institutions. Based on the analysis of the performance indicators of the maternity complex No. 2 in the city of Samarkand, to develop a new model of medical care for pregnant women, women in labor, maternity hospitals and their newborns. The analysis was carried out for the period from 2020 to 2023 (6 months). During this period, 24,842 years were taken in the maternity complex No. 2 in Samarkand and 21,644 newborns were born alive. The age of the women ranged from 15 to 45 years. The median age was 30 years. It should be especially noted that not only residents of all districts of the Samarkand region, but also their other regions and republics apply for medical care in the city maternity hospital
