Annotatsiya

The term large obstetric syndromes includes obstetric complications, such as premature birth, premature rupture of the fetal membranes, fetal death, preeclampsia and intrauterine development delay. Large obstetric syndromes are those pathological changes in pregnancy that are the cause of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. Therefore, they are also called pathological pregnancy syndrome, combining pathogenesis and changes in the fetoplacental system. Large obstetric syndromes accompany more than 15% of pregnancies, exposing the mother and fetus to a high risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes. These pregnancy complications can affect short- and long-term health outcomes for both mother and fetus.
