CRIMINAL FICTION WORKS AND THEIR SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS

This article is devoted to the elucidation of the crime fiction, which are popular in the world literature and in the Uzbek national literature, mainly in the years of independence, and their genre features. It gives a theoretical description of artistic criminal works. Their important structural elements are classified. The features characteristic of works on the theme of crime are explained. In order to justify the theoretical ideas, the article analyzes the works in Uzbek and English crime fiction.
