Classification of Organometallic Compounds
Annotatsiya
In order to find relationships between characteristics and structure, this effort compiles the crystallographic data of organometallic compounds by kind, classification, and complexity. This work compiles the crystallographic information on organometallic compounds by type and complexity with the goal of establishing relationships between structure and characteristics. Trigonal bipyramidal, tetrahedral, square planner, octahedral, and pentagonal bipyramidal geometries are the most common. Alkyl and aryl compounds are the most prevalent C-donor ligands. Except for four cases, the rest are metals in varying oxidation states. There are illustrations of structural isomerism and distortion. A large percentage of the metallic compounds are common coordination complexes. There are mono- to polynuclear derivatives with coordination numbers ranging from 2 to 12.
