In this article, the science of mathematics in primary education, its teaching, teaching methodology in the first stages, the correct organization of lessons, the role of mathematical teaching in the formation of the mathematical ability of primary school students, the importance is discussed. Throughout the article, it is emphasized that the teaching of mathematics in elementary grades, like the teaching of any other academic subject, should be addressed with education, training and practical qualities.
