The paper also discusses the regulatory challenges and national security implications of cybercrime. With global cybercrime costs exceeding $1 trillion annually, the need for robust cybersecurity measures and international cooperation is paramount. The article concludes that addressing the cybercrime threat requires a collaborative approach involving businesses, governments, and individuals to enhance cybersecurity practices, promote cyber hygiene, and develop effective legal frameworks.
