Annotatsiya

In many areas of NLP, mainly in machine translation, in the process of aligning parallel texts, it is necessary to have a complete understanding of the expressions used in the source language and target language, as well as their grammatical structure and semantics. Although word combinations in the Uzbek and the English language are structurally similar in the form of a head word and a subordinate word, English also has a compound word combination in contrast. In the Uzbek language, word combinations are classified according to the grammatical nature and structure of the parts of the phrase. In this case, when classifying according to its grammatical nature, the part of speech of the dominant member and the syntactic function of the subordinate member are taken as the basis. In the process of alignment, the difference depends on the grammatical presence of the words involved in the phrases in both languages and their place in the sentence.
