Experimental studies the output parameters of polycrystalline silicon-based solar panels after several years of operation
Annotatsiya
Currently, photoelectric energy takes place an important place in the renewable energy market. During last seven years, electricity in Uzbekistan producing by solar PV plants has increased significantly. The following article highlights the outcomes of research on the output parameters of solar panels based on polycrystalline silicon, installed in Pap district of Namangan region, after several years of operation. Experimentally determined current-voltage characteristics (I-V) and (P-V), no-load operation (Voc), short-circuit current (Isc), maximum output current (Imax), maximum output voltage (Vmax), maximum output power (Pmax) and duty factor (FF) in real conditions after several years of operation. A decrease in the performance of the solar panels after several years of operation in real conditions was defined. It is determined that after 7 years of operation a solar photovoltaic power plant in climatic conditions there are degradation processes in solar panels. The relative differences in operating parameters (Pmax, Vmax, Imax, Voc, Isc and FF) of solar panels between period before the first commissioning and after several years of operation in real conditions are given. The degradation rate of solar panels has been found to be 0.224%/year, which, according to analytical studies, is representative of polycrystalline silicon (Si) modules.
