IMPROVEMENT OF METHODS AND MEANS FOR INCREASING THE ACCURACY OF INSTRUMENTS FOR MEASURING THE FLOW OF LIQUIDS AND GASES

The work is devoted to the issue of increasing the accuracy of liquid flow measurement devices, containing a primary measuring transducer for measuring the pressure drop in a narrowed section of a pipeline, temperature sensors, a microprocessor, non-volatile memory, and a communication interface. To reduce uncertainty, the liquid flow measurement temperature compensation of the flow-measuring transducer is performed based on the readings of the temperature sensor installed in the measurement environment. The secondary transducer readings are calibrated based on the temperature sensor readings installed in the computing unit of the measuring device. For reliable measurement of the gas-liquid media flow, the measurement result values are corrected based on information about the measurement environment from the database recorded in the microprocessor memory.
