Methods for obtaining chitin and using chitosan as an intensifier for dying and printing of blended fabrics with water-soluble dyes

The article presents the results of the use of chitosan synthesized from dead bees Apis Mellifera as a thickener for dyeing blended fabrics based on cotton-silk and silk-viscose. It has been studied that at a concentration of chitosan of 0.2-0.3 g/l with polyacrylamide (PAA) of 15-20 g/l, resistance to soap and sweat improves. It has been established that chitosan can be used as a thickener for printing mixed fabrics with water-soluble dyes because the amino groups of chitosan react with the active dye to form covalent bonds, the protonated NH3+ groups form ionic bonds with the active dye, and the OH groups participate in the formation of hydrogen bonds with active dye.
