This article discusses the mathematical modeling of uniform sets for children based on the results of marketing research. On the basis of the conducted research, a method of situational design of children's clothing has been developed, according to which the consumer situation of product use is a methodological starting point for designing the optimal nomenclature of an industrial range of clothing for children, as well as a model for forming consumer situations and initial data for designing sets of clothing for children.
