Annotatsiya

This article presents the physical-chemical and textural characteristics of natural enriched bentonite, commercial synthetic laponite, and intercalated samples based on them. The adsorption properties were investigated based on nitrogen adsorption. The data showed that the original montmorillonite surpasses the original laponite in textural characteristics, but the intercalated forms of samples demonstrated the reverse result. Upon intercalation of laponite, the surface area increases by about 18 times, while for bentonite it only increases by three times, indicating that laponite has higher porosity and surface activity compared to intercalated bentonite, allowing for more effective capture of adsorbates from solutions.
