Study of the effect of the amount of zinc promoter on the performance of a high-silica zeolite catalyst containing 6% molybdenum

In this article, the influence of the amount of Zn promoter on the productivity of the catalyst containing 6% Mo/HCT was studied. Hydrothermal synthesis is important in ensuring the isomorphous exchange of aluminum or silicon in the zeolite crystal lattice to modifiers. Acidic and textural characteristics of catalyst are improved due to isomorphous exchange in hydrothermal synthesis. This article presents the results of studying the kinetic laws of the catalytic aromatization reaction of propane on the (MoO3)x·(ZnO)y·(ZrO2)z•(B2O3)k catalyst and the effect of the amount of Zn promoter on the productivity of the 6%Mo/HCT catalyst. High-silicon zeolite obtained from kaolin of Pakhtachi district of the Republic of Uzbekistan was used as a carrier. Zinc and zirconium were added to Nositel during the hydrothermal synthesis stage. Hexamethylene diamine and citric acid were used as structuring agents. Aqueous solutions of zirconyl nitrate ZrO(NO3)2 and Zn(NO3)2 salts were used as a source of zirconium and zinc oxides. The synthesis of (MoO3)x·(ZnO)y·(ZrO2)z•(B2O3)k catalyst was carried out in a steel autoclave at 200-250 0C. The reactor consists of a quartz tube with a diameter of 30 mm and a length of 220 mm, in which 5 ml of catalyst is placed. The gas content was determined by gas chromatographic method on Kristall 5000 gas chromatograph. It was carried out in a 3 m long column with an inner diameter of 3 mm, filled with alumina treated with petroleum jelly to separate C3−C4 hydrocarbons and air. The analysis was performed at a programmed temperature. Hydrogen determination was carried out in a 1 m column with an inner diameter of 3 mm packed with 13X zeolite. The analysis was carried out at a constant temperature of 35 °C. The analysis time is 5 minutes, the carrier gas, the flow rate of argon is 10 ml/min. A hydrogen content calibration graph was constructed to calculate the hydrogen content. Aromatic hydrocarbons were determined according to GOST R 56343-2015.
