ENLIGHTENMENT IDEAS IN JADID DRAMA

Although the drama genre in the history of Uzbek literature was formed at the beginning of the 20th century, the roots of this genre go back to long periods of the history of Uzbek literature: Uzbek folk oral dramas, lapar, yor-yor, dramatic situations in written literature served as the basis for its formation [9.112]. However, the real drama, as in Europe, appeared at the beginning of the 20th century. The desire to create a genre of drama took place in the works of representatives of Jadid literature. Mahmudhoja Behbudi's drama "Padarkush" (1911-1913) is considered one of the first works in this field, followed by "Zaharli hayot yoxud ishq qurbonlari" by Hamza, "Ilm hidoyati", "Paranji sirlari yoxud yallachilar ishi", "Pinak" by Avloni, "Advokatlik osonmi?", "Biz va siz", "Baxtsiz kuyov" by Kadiri, "Abulfeizhan" by Fitrat and many other dramas paved the way for the emergence and further development of this genre in Uzbek literature [10.215].
