The paper provides data on the water consumption of cotton and its coefficient of water consumption in arid zones, meadow-alluvial soils of the Bukhara region. Conducted studies have shown that the most economical water consumption in the fields of Bukhara-8 cotton can be achieved with an irrigation regime of 65–70–65% of the FPV with a cotton yield of 42.7 centners per hectare. In this case, the water consumption coefficient is 88 m 3 /c.
