Abstract This paper presents the results of field studies to determine the actual morphometric characteristics of water bodies of the Amudarya River delta, in particular the Mezhdurechye reservoir, Muynak and Rybachy bays. In connection with the deteriorating environmental situation and the need to stabilize it, based on the research results, the main characteristics of reservoirs were determined, in particular their actual volumes, and a watering regime for these objects was developed, as well as an assessment of the productivity of reservoirs.
