Flying Ad-Hoc Networks: Modeling and Analyzing Latency
Annotatsiya
The article considers the process of multistream data transmission from several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to a ground station. A simulation model of the data transmission process at the application level of the FANET model (from flying nodes to a ground station) is described. The nature of the streaming data traffic is represented by a Markov packet process. The results of simulation modeling of the process of streaming video transmission from several UAV source nodes in the NS-3 network simulator are presented. A system for emulating the process of multi-stream data transmission from a UAV to a ground station is described. This paper considers latency in FANETs as a particularly significant network issue. It examines the factors influencing latency and conducts research based on Queuing Theory in analytical modeling. Additionally, the paper discusses network simulators that can be employed for researching.
