The cross section for the associated production of a jet with an electroweak gauge boson (<a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><a:mrow><a:mi>G</a:mi><a:mo>=</a:mo><a:msup><a:mrow><a:mi>W</a:mi></a:mrow><a:mrow><a:mo>±</a:mo></a:mrow></a:msup><a:mo>,</a:mo><a:msup><a:mrow><a:mi>Z</a:mi></a:mrow><a:mrow><a:mn>0</a:mn></a:mrow></a:msup><a:mo>,</a:mo><a:mi>γ</a:mi></a:mrow></a:math>) at forward rapidities in <c:math xmlns:c="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><c:mi>p</c:mi><c:mi>p</c:mi></c:math> and <e:math xmlns:e="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><e:mi>p</e:mi><e:mi>A</e:mi></e:math> collisions is derived within the color-dipole <g:math xmlns:g="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><g:mi>S</g:mi></g:math>-matrix framework. We present the full expressions for the differential cross section of the <i:math xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><i:mi>q</i:mi><i:mi>p</i:mi><i:mo stretchy="false">→</i:mo><i:mi>G</i:mi><i:mi>q</i:mi><i:mi>X</i:mi></i:math> process in the transverse momentum space, considering the longitudinal and transverse polarizations of the gauge boson. We demonstrate that the final formulas can be expressed in terms of the unintegrated gluon distribution and reproduce previous results for the associated <l:math xmlns:l="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><l:mrow><l:mi>jet</l:mi><l:mo>+</l:mo><l:mi>γ</l:mi></l:mrow></l:math> and <n:math xmlns:n="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><n:mrow><n:mi>jet</n:mi><n:mo>+</n:mo><n:msup><n:mrow><n:mi>Z</n:mi></n:mrow><n:mrow><n:mn>0</n:mn></n:mrow></n:msup></n:mrow></n:math> production, derived using other frameworks. Moreover, we derive the back-to-back correlation limit of the spectra and show that it can be expressed in terms of the unpolarized and linearly polarized transverse momentum gluon distributions. Our results improve the description of the inclusive jet plus color neutral particle production at forward rapidities, not far from the proton fragmentation region, in <p:math xmlns:p="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><p:mi>p</p:mi><p:mi>p</p:mi></p:math> or <r:math xmlns:r="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><r:mi>p</r:mi><r:mi>A</r:mi></r:math> collisions, and are the main ingredient to study the impact of nonlinear QCD effects in two-particle correlations.
