STUDY OF PROPERTIES AND USE OF A SEPARATE FRACTIONOF GOSSYPOL RESIN

The work was carried out on gossypol resin, which was considered a waste product of the oil industry. The fractional composition and formula of gossypol resin are presented, and its physicochemical properties are analyzed. The chemical structure of the fraction isolated from gossypol resin is determined by infrared spectroscopic analysis. Preliminary studies are conducted to determine the composition and properties of this fraction. Its use as a raw material for obtaining secondary products is proposed. A scheme of thermal extrusion and a mechanism for obtaining molding plastic materials (PSM) from gossypol resin are presented.
