This article reveals the significance of the concept of the unemployment rate. It highlights the approaches of scholars to employee management and provides general conclusions. The methodological importance of employee management in enterprises is explained. An analysis of the number of employed, the number of unemployed, and the unemployment rate at the international level was conducted between 2008 and 2023. В данной статье раскрыта важность понятия уровня безработицы. Освещены подходы ученых к управлению сотрудниками, а также сделаны общие выводы. Раскрыта методологическая значимость управления сотрудниками на предприятиях. В период с 2008 по 2023 годы был проведен анализ числа занятых, числа безработных и уровня безработицы на международном уровне.
