The "Canon of Medicine" by Ibn Sina, a seminal work in the history of medicine, has not only shaped medical practices but has also significantly influenced the development of medical linguistics. This study explores the contributions of Ibn Sina's medical text to the linguistic framework of medical terminology and its implications for contemporary medical language. By examining the linguistic features of Ibn Sina's work, including the creation and use of medical terms, semantic structures, and terminological consistency, this paper highlights the pivotal role of his contributions in shaping the medical lexicon.
