The article presents a study on the molecular genetic characterization of the widespread Eryx miliaris (Pallas, 1773) species in Uzbekistan, the species is endemic to Asia. In Uzbekistan, two species belonging to the genus Eryx, E. miliaris and E. tataricus, are widespread, and their taxonomic status is considered problematic
