Annotatsiya

Today, practical work is being carried out in the world on processing minerals to obtain valuable components. Leading scientists from all over the world are engaged in scientific research on the extraction and production of radioactive elements, such as uranium and thorium, from raw minerals (phosphorite, apatite and sulfide ores). Much attention is paid to the associated extraction with the production of phosphorus-containing salts during the extraction and processing of uranium from phosphorite ores. This article presents laboratory results of studies of the composition of phosphorite ores and products of their acid treatment containing radioactive elements uranium and thorium. The amount of uranium and thorium was determined by modern physical and chemical methods: mass spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), IR-spectroscopy.
