This article explores the integration of AI-powered simulators –such as chatbots and conversational language learning platforms –into language and communication training. Grounded in constructivist and learner-centered pedagogical principles, it examines effective didactic strategies for using these tools to enhance real-life communication skills. The study highlights methods including task-based learning, scaffolded role-play, error-based reflection, personalized learning, blended instruction, and collaborative tasks. By aligningtechnological innovation with sound instructional design, educators can foster deeper engagement, fluency, and confidence in learners.
