Annotatsiya
The article considers some aspects of decreasing the flammability of synthetic polymer materials. It is shown that the flammability of polymers and compositions based on them is determined not only by the nature of the polymer, but also by the composition of the formed gas, as well as presence of noncombustible products in the gas phase. A linear dependence between flammability and heat resistance is possible for polymers with similar structures only.
