Concordance of the Poetry Corpus of Abdulla Oripov, Muhammad Yusuf and Shavkat Rahmon
Annotatsiya
This article explores the possibilities of analyzing poetic texts using concordance within the framework of corpus linguistics, one of the pressing areas in modern Uzbek linguistics. The poetry of master poets of modern Uzbek literature — Abdulla Oripov, Muhammad Yusuf, and Shavkat Rahmon — has been chosen as the object of this research, and a poetic corpus has been created based on their works. Through corpus-based concordance analyses, the semantic, syntactic, and stylistic loads of the lexical unit "odam" (person/human) in each poet's poetics are deeply analyzed. Additionally, the active and passive lexical units characteristic of each poet are identified, and their place within the system of poetic core words is substantiated. The article demonstrates how the concordance function helps identify word usage in context, semantic features, the poet's style, and thematic priorities. This approach creates an important theoretical and practical foundation for the digitalization and linguistic systematization of poetic texts based on a corpus, and for the implementation of modern linguistic analysis methods into practice.
