PRAGMATIC ASPECTS OF CONNOTATION AND ADDRESS FORMS IN WOMEN’S SPEECH

The article analyzes the manifestation of connotation in Uzbek women’s speech, focusing on the positive and negative evaluations expressed through forms of address, as well as the speech-pragmatic functions of emotional and expressive means. The study also highlights the theory of connotation in linguistics and its linguistic, psycholinguistic, and semiotic approaches.
