Annotatsiya

In this article, I examine the ethical and societal problems arising from the rapid development and integration of artificial intelligence (AI). My research focuses on four main areas: algorithmic bias and fairness, transparency and accountability, data privacy and surveillance, and the broader social consequences of automation. Using a qualitative approach based on a systematic literature review, I analyzed academic works from computer science, law, and ethics to identify how current AI systems create ethical dilemmas and what frameworks might guide their responsible use. The study reveals that AI’s ethical challenges are deeply interconnected—technical solutions alone cannot address issues rooted in human values and governance. I argue that effective AI ethics requires a multidisciplinary and proactive approach built on transparency, human rights, and justice. The findings highlight the urgent need for ethical governance structures that ensure AI benefits society while minimizing harm.
