Annotatsiya

This study focuses on creating and using new organic compounds made from nitrosonaphthols to detect metal ions, especially cobalt, with high accuracy and selectivity. These compounds were carefully attached to different solid supports to develop advanced sensory materials. The research examined how the compounds bonded to the supports and how they formed complexes with cobalt ions, paying close attention to factors such as pH and ionic strength to find the best conditions for analytical performance. The modified materials showed much better selectivity, mainly due to changes in shape and structure during the bonding process. A key outcome was the successful use of a synthesized compound, 6-CH3-PAFDA, to precisely measure copper levels in a complex industrial alloy using photometric methods. This approach offers a reliable, safe, and effective alternative to conventional extraction techniques. It employs solid-phase spectrometry and could be applied in environmental monitoring and industrial quality control, supporting the development of new chemical platforms for photonic sensing.
