STYLISTIC AND SEMANTIC FEATURES OF LITERARY DISCOURSE: A COGNITIVE APPROACH TO THE IMAGE ANALYSIS
Annotatsiya
This article explores the stylistic and semantic organization of literary discourse through the lens of cognitive linguistics. The study aims to identify how linguistic, cognitive, and cultural mechanisms interact in the creation of artistic meaning and image. The article emphasizes that stylistic analysis extends beyond the description of expressive means to the investigation of cognitive processes underlying literary expression. The study concludes that stylistic and semantic features of literary discourse are determined by both individual authorial style and general cognitive principles of information processing. Literary language thus acts as a means of conceptualizing human experience and expressing the author’s worldview.
