This paper explores the origins, etymology, and semantic evolution of Christian religious vocabulary in the English language. By examining words derived from Latin, Greek, Hebrew, and Germanic sources, the study reveals how linguistic and cultural contact shaped the Christian lexicon. It also analyzes how translation, religious reform, and theological discourse contributed to the diversification of meanings. The research draws upon etymological evidence, historical linguistics, and semantic analysis to trace how key Christian terms transformed over centuries, reflecting both spiritual and sociocultural developments.
