This article analyzes the role of fairy tales in the development of children’s speech, focusing on their linguistic, cognitive, and communicative potential. Fairy tales are examined as an effective pedagogical tool that supports vocabulary enrichment, grammatical development, phonological awareness, and narrative competence. The study highlights how storytelling, retelling, and dramatization activities based on fairy tales contribute to expressive and coherent speech. Special attention is given to the emotional and imaginative aspects of fairy tales, which create a motivating environment for language learning. The article emphasizes the importance of integrating fairy tales into early childhood education to promote natural and holistic speech development.
