Annotatsiya

One of the fundamental principles required by the modern higher education system is the alignment of the educational process with international standards, ensuring transparency of curricula and mutual recognition of qualifications. The Bologna Process implemented in European countries emerged in response to this need, and at its core lies the ECTS — the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System. The ECTS system serves to accurately measure student workload, standardize academic programs, and harmonize assessment criteria, thereby facilitating effective international educational cooperation. This article provides a scholarly analysis of the content, essence, methodological foundations, and educational significance of the ECTS credit system
