LEADING TRENDS IN THE STUDY OF ALISHER NAVAI'S WORK IN TURKEY

This article examines the historical and contemporary trends in the study of Alisher Navoi’s works in Turkey. It analyzes the poet’s recognition among Turkish scholars and poets, the study of manuscript copies, the creation of critical editions, and the translation processes. Furthermore, it outlines the leading directions in Turkish Navoi studies: textual and translation studies, linguistics, literary studies, and comparative analysis. The study includes examples from master’s and doctoral theses, published books, and digital resources. The article demonstrates the systematic and interdisciplinary approach to studying Navoi’s heritage in Turkey and emphasizes the importance of collaboration between Turkish and Uzbek scholars.
