This article examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the education system, their impact on the process of learning the Uzbek language, as well as their opportunities and challenges—particularly in terms of integration into the learning process and effective application. It analyzes how AI transforms teaching methods and highlights the importance of innovative tools in teaching Uzbek to both foreign and local audiences. Specifically, it discusses AI-powered language learning programs, chatbots, pronunciation analysis systems, and automatic translators, as well as the functioning and advantages of adaptive platforms and automated assessment systems. The article scientifically explores AI-based teaching methods, their benefits, practical applications, and their influence on teacher–student interactions. Recommendations are provided based on international experience and the national education system. The article is written using international scholarly sources
