AI-Driven Resource Optimization in LiFi-Based Wireless Networks

The concept of Light Fidelity (LiFi) has become a bright perspective of wireless communication that can be used to indoor network high speed and safely. Nevertheless, one of the biggest challenges is the effective use of the optical resources in dynamic settings. The paper introduces an AI-induced resource optimization mechanism of wireless networks operating under LiFi. The presented solution uses the reinforcement learning strategy to dynamically optimize bandwidth, power, and users association in multi-cell LiFi systems. Simulation outputs show great advancements in throughput, latency and energy consumption as opposed to traditional methods of allocation which are not dynamic.
