Annotatsiya

The blistering development of smart environments requires secure high-speed, and interference-free communication of Internet of Things (IoT) equipment. Radio-frequency (RF) technologies have problems such as spectrum congestion, electromagnetic interference, and lack of security. LiFi (light fidelity), which is an offshoot of visible light communication (VLC), appears to be a promising complementary technology. In this paper, the design and implementation of LiFi-IoT prototype based on Arduino to monitor the smart environment are presented. An LED-based LiFi link measures the environmental factors like temperature, humidity, and air quality and transmits them. The use of LiFi in indoor smart monitoring is proven to be an effective solution in this way because experimental results indicate that LiFi is a reliable data transmission system with low latencies and resilient to RF interference.
