Annotatsiya

Efficient monitoring of water resources is essential for sustainable agriculture, urban water management, and hydrological safety. Conventional manual monitoring approaches are labor-intensive, error-prone, and unsuitable for remote or distributed environments. This paper presents the design and development of a low-cost Arduino–GSM based wireless telemetry system for real-time water monitoring applications. The proposed system integrates water level and flow sensors with an Arduino microcontroller and a GSM communication module to enable continuous data acquisition and remote transmission. Sensor data are processed locally and transmitted to a monitoring station via Short Message Service (SMS) or packet-based GSM communication. Experimental evaluation demonstrates reliable data delivery, acceptable latency, and low power consumption, making the system suitable for deployment in remote and resource-constrained environments.
