Live Workplace Mirror: Seamless XR-Driven Soft Skills Development in the Flow of Work
Annotatsiya
In contrast to a scholarly setting, soft skills are not developed and polished in a vacuum, but are also shaped through real-time interactions. However, the overwhelming majority of training systems designed with XR and VR are restricted to artificial, time-bounded simulations that fail to reflect the dynamics of communication in its everyday form. In the paper, the author introduces the Live Workplace Mirror, a next-generation XR-powered platform that integrates continuous skills enhancement into the natural workflow. By combining real-time AI, speech and sentiment analysis, and wearable XR devices, the system will enable capturing the team's dynamics at a given moment and providing subtle, personalised micro-coaching without interfering with the work process. It acknowledges the communication, emotion, gesture, and cooperation models and makes immediate and contingent individualised statements to foster empathy, individuation, and interpersonal performance. The platform is based on the principles of cognitive-behavioural learning and organisational psychology. It shifts the traditional post-modern vision of training in soft skills into a continuous learning and development framework. We present the theoretical framework, technical design, educational strategy, and implementation plan for the system, which demonstrate how the Live Workplace Mirror helps close the gap between remote training and real-world application. The creation of human-centred competence in the present-day organisation, which is both scaling and transformative, is the approach offered by its learning system as part of daily cooperation.
