Annotatsiya

The paper discusses the improvement of reliability in power supply systems for railway signaling and communication equipment. The main focus is on the development and analysis of a model for integrated control of uninterrupted power supply that combines both traditional and alternative energy sources. The proposed system is based on a dual-channel redundancy architecture that integrates a diesel generator unit and a subsystem “battery + alternative energy source.” Analytical expressions are presented to calculate the reliability indicators of each channel, taking into account the probability of successful generator start, fuel reserve limitation, battery energy balance, and stochastic availability of the renewable source. For quantitative reliability assessment, the Monte Carlo simulation method with control variates was applied, which made it possible to reduce the variance of estimates and improve the accuracy of the results. The obtained dependencies show how the system failure probability is influenced by key parameters of the diesel and renewable channels, as well as by the characteristics of power generation and battery capacity, demonstrating the impact of these factors on the overall energy stability of the system.
