Traditional electronics have encountered difficulties in the development of soft bioelectronics (BE), including wearable and implantable assimilated gadgets. Advancements in the functionality of soft BEs based on nanomaterials (NMs) have been achieved as a result of recent developments in the creation of innovative NMs, outer-layer complexation approaches, and integrated gadget production processes. The mechanical and electrical functioning of flexible electronics has recently been upgraded through the use of functional NMs in nanoscale manufacturing. Particularly, to meet the demands of actual applications, functional NMs suited for flexible electronic devices must not only possess fundamental capabilities, like signal detection, energy production, and stowage, but also possess exceptional mechanical stability. Numerous studies have concentrated on the creation of effective integration methods of soft NMs into devices as well as the biological, electrical, and mechanical evaluations of heterogeneous NM-biosystem interfaces. This chapter provides a synopsis of contemporary progresses in stretchable and flexible BE centered on NMs and their composites, followed by a list of specific applications. The chapter is concluded with a quick overview and a consideration of the enduring difficulties.
