Annotatsiya

This study explores relationships among acculturative stress, psychological well-being, and sociocultural adaptation among Uzbek immigrants in South Korea. Using data from 687 respondents, it examines how stress related to cultural adjustment predicts anxiety, depression, and adaptation outcomes. Standardized measures assessed key constructs. Correlation and regression analyses revealed that higher acculturative stress significantly increased anxiety and depression while hindering sociocultural adjustment. Length of stay and financial support emerged as relevant factors. Findings highlight the need for targeted support addressing both psychological stress and practical adaptation challenges, offering evidence-based insights for policymakers and practitioners working to promote immigrant well-being.
