The truth of the time is in art truth: About the creation of the Karakalpak classic poet Ajiniyaz
Annotatsiya
In this article, we learn about the views of Ajiniyaz Kosybai Uli, the classic poet of Karakalpak literature of the 19th century, on his time and social relations, which are reflected by the lyrical conflict in his poetry. The contrast of the lyrical hero with the external center is given by means of gradation and antithesis, and his relation to the social order of his time is expressed by metaphorical and symbolic means of translating the poetic content into a deeply changing meaning. The system of contrasts in the poet’s lyric poetry, as well as the elements of conflict that appear in the lyrical hero’s spiritual world—his views on justice, homeland, love, and human dignity—manifest themselves through the two fundamental forms of lyrical conflict: inner conflict and external conflict, each revealed through its own characteristic poetic features. The distinctive aspects of the poet’s lyric poetics—such as the strong dramatization inherent in folk poetics, the role of lyrical conflict in shaping meaning, and the function of philosophical thought as a factor that intensifies internal contradictions—have been studied comprehensively from various angles. New genres and new forms depict new content. The transformation of the images of the beautiful heroes in the epics known to Eastern peoples, as well as the stylization of the images of the giant and the rich, which were used as an aesthetically pleasing image starting from the most authentic folklore, into the phenomena used as the object of depicting the inner feelings of the lyrical hero, reveals that the appreciation and views given to the enigmatic secrets of the reality surrounding us, the positive or negative influence of the external world and the thoughts realized in the inner world of the poet are reflected by lyrical conflict.
