Annotatsiya
In cases of uterine bleeding occurring within 2–4 hours after a cesarean section, functional and morphological indicators reveal acute hemodynamic disturbances in the myocytes of the endomyometrium, which are rich in actin and myosin and have high contractile capacity. In the isthmic-cervical region of the anterior lower surface of the uterus, myocytes in the circular muscle layer appear as "strangulation furrows," leading to ischemia of the myocyte bundles. Clinically and morphologically, this explains why hemorrhage complicates 12% of cases in the period following cesarean section.
