Annotatsiya

This article investigates the biogeographical distribution, ecological characteristics, and laboratory-based reproduction processes of mollusk species belonging to the genus Leucozonella (Lindholm, 1927) in the mountainous regions of Uzbekistan. The study analyzes the distribution range and ecological conditions of Leucozonella species inhabiting the Chatkal, Ugam, and Pskem mountain ranges of Uzbekistan. The findings provide an important scientific basis for the conservation of biodiversity in mountainous areas, with particular emphasis on the protection of mollusks and the development of technologies for their artificial propagation. The practical significance of the research also lies in enhancing ecological monitoring and assessing the impacts of climate change on species survival and population dynamics. The scientific outcomes of this study contribute to future research aimed at species conservation and a deeper understanding of their role within ecological systems
